I Work with:
- Relationship dynamics (couples and families)
- Adults with childhood adjustment disorders
- Adults with childhood trauma
- Physical, mental, or sexual abuse issues.
- Sexual problems
- School-age children in distress or with developmental issues
- Learning disabilities or dyslexia (any age)
- School/college related issues.
- Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), combat and, or personal
And for this work I use:
- For couples - a system based on attachment issues and an interactive system
for couples that I am developing
- For disorders, trauma, abuse, and developmental issues - primarily psychoanalytic-psychotherapy,
a system based in the British school of object -relations.
- For children in distress, developmental issues, or learning problems -
talk, education. and work with whole family.
- For general problems - "talk therapy." EMDR, hypnosis, and dream
work
- For currant trauma - critical debriefing
- For PTSD - specialized training (was an instructor for the Veterans Administration)
- For sexual issues - training as fits the American Association of Sexuality
Educators, Counselors and Therapists (ASECT) requirements, special medical
training in HIV and AIDS, over ten years work within the gay and lesbian
community.
